Your domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking data report submissions, provide data for the:
- Annual publication of Sex Crimes in New Mexico
- Annual publication of the Incidence and Nature of Domestic Violence in New Mexico
These publications make information available for:
- Writing grants for New Mexico communities to obtain needed:
- Staff (law enforcement officers, special investigative units, special prosecution units, counselors)
- Equipment (computer equipment, surveillance equipment)
- Trainings (law enforcement, service providers, SANE, prosecution, judicial)
- Other
materials (education and other materials essential to improve the
delivery of services to victims and the treatment and/or prosecution of
offenders)
- Guiding needed changes in domestic violence, stalking and sex crimes legislation
- Guiding program decisions to improve the quality of New Mexico’s response to interpersonal violence
